Rodeo

I took Stephen and Brady to the Arizona National Livestock Show at the fairgrounds with my mom and Jess. They had a Lil' Buckaroo rodeo. Stephen got to ride a sheep and see how far he could go. It was really funny to watch. He looked really cute standing with the other little cowboys waiting for his turn.

They put his helmet on and lifted him onto his sheep. I think it's name was Luby Loo, but I can't remember for sure. Anyway, they put him on and opened the gate.

The sheep took off pretty quickly and Stephen was already sideways when he came out.

It only took a few seconds, but he held on pretty tight.

He was a little scared when he fell off so I was holding him, but while he was crying he kept saying "I want another turn." So Nana held him while he watched the other cowboys try.

Brady wanted to watch with him too.

After everyone finished they each got a ribbon.

Christmas

On Christmas Eve we always go to Blake's parent's house to help set out the luminaries and drive around to see the neighborhood. Stephen is a good helper bringing out the bags and putting in the candles.
Christmas morning, waiting on the stairs to go see what Santa brought.

Woo Hoo!!!!

New matching quad-rider shirts.

Cousins at Grandma and Papa's house.

Christensen's house for Christmas night.

Nana and Grandpa Bob.

New Elmo slippers.

Relaxing after a busy week.

November

In November we took the boys to Disneyland for the first time. It was so much fun! They had a blast! Stephen could go on almost every ride and Brady had a good time riding on the smaller rides with us all.

Thanksgiving was busy as usual. We had the Smith family gathering then over to the Boswells and Christensens. It was fun though. We got to see most of our family, so it was a good time.

october

So this is my lame attempt to keep our blog up to date (yes, it's been three months+ since I made an entry). Anyway, here's what we did in October:

Blake's brother Derek got married

We hung at the zoo with some fun cousins:

Had our first trip to Schnepf Farms (which the boys loved!!)

Saw Thomas the Tank Engine and rode an elephant at the fair (we were even on the news):

And, of course, Haloween:
